Project – Community Bus
The Trust has applied to the Kinross-shire Fund for a grant to help towards the running costs of the Community Bus.
There is an active programme of trips on offer which need to be supported if they are to continue to be offered. The better weather is almost upon us and it would be great to see more trips taken up and enjoyed. Additionally a reminder that the Bus can seat up to 16 passengers and can be privately hired for group outings to events, support for weddings and a host of other uses. Tony is more than happy to quote for private hire with no obligation to accept any quote. All private hires come with a driver who is giving his or her time freely to support our Community
If there are any trips or events that Members would like please let us know via email anthony@fossowaytrust.com . Please note we are adopting a policy of a minimum number of travellers for each event.
All trips can be seen on our Facebook page

Project – CAT of Blairingone School-Marion Anness
The Trust has formally advised PKC that they will not be taking forward their offer of the land in the school grounds. Instead we are moving forward with the CAT of the School and attached house. The Trust has met with legal advisors who have strongly advised that we purchase the property rather than lease it.
Our Development Officer is working with us on the submission of the CAT
The Trust has met with Kinross Museum and has sought their help in researching the history of the school.

Project 3 – Creation of Heritage Trail and Protection of Local Heritage – Sarah Bruce Jones & Nicola Marchant
The HES grant application has been submitted and we are now in the process of submitting an application to Perth Heritage Trust for further funding.
The project includes the recruitment of an oral historian to create 6 booklets highlighting the heritage of each of our villages and a map of existing walks where we will install placards with local heritage stories, 3 history comics, and maintenance work on the Lade and Moubray Hall.
We have an active and very creative working group – if you would like to be involved email Nicola at ncmarchant@fossowaytrust.com
Events
Hopefully you have received a flyer detailing the successes of the Trust and also advertising a drop in event on Saturday 16th May 2-6pm in the Crook of Devon Village Hall where all residents have an opportunity to review and comment on LDP3 the proposed plan of developments in our Community. This is your chance to have your say on how your village may develop.
