FOSSWAY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRUST – PRIVACY NOTICE
Fossoway Community Development Trust exists to benefit the community of Fossoway covering the communities of Crook of Devon, Powmill, Blairingone and Carnbo.
The Trust’s aims are the advancement of community development; citizenship; arts, heritage, culture or science; and environmental protection, including the provision of recreational facilities for the benefit of the community.
The Trust takes seriously the privacy of its members and visitors to its websites. The purpose of this policy is to explain how the Trust processes your data and the policies that underpin the Trust’s use of personal data that it processes in the course of its work towards its listed aims.

The Trust processes the personal data of its members for the following purposes:
– Maintaining membership of the Trust
– Delivery of the Trust’s aims.
– Activities within the Trust’s Working Groups
– To grow the membership of the Trust.
– To inform individuals of the Trust’s events, services, activities and decisions taken by the Trust.
– To deliver the Trust’s website
– To conduct research to inform the work of the Trust.
LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
The Trust relies on different lawful bases depending on the purpose of the processing. Please see the table that below that specifies the purpose of the processing, the personal data processed and the lawful basis under which the personal data is processed.

RETENTION PERIODS FOR THE PERSONAL DATA
The Trust will retain the personal data of its members while you are a member and 6 years after the date you ceased to be a member as required by OSCR.
If you are acting as a Trustee we will retain some personal data for 6 years after the date you ceased to be a Trustee as required by OSCR.
We will retain the data of non-members for no longer than is reasonably necessary.
RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
You have the right to withdraw your consent for our processing of your personal data for those relevant purposes:
– To grow membership of the Trust
– To inform individuals of the Trust’s events, services, activities and decisions taken by the Trust.
– To deliver the Trust’s website
– To conduct research to inform the work of the Trust
RIGHTS AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUALS IN RESPECT OF THE PROCESSING
– Right to access your information held by the Trust
– Right to request rectification of inaccurate or out of date personal data processed by the Trust
– Right to object to processing (where applicable)
– Right to object to direct marketing
– Right to erasure (unless the Trust has a compelling reason for continued retention)
– Right to withdraw consent to the processing at any time where the Trust relies on consent as its lawful basis for processing
– The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
THE RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH A SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
